Hi, I'm Andrea.
If you’re here, I’m guessing you’re not someone who ignores your health. You try to eat well. You pay attention. You’ve probably made some changes over time…
And yet, you still don’t feel how you want to feel. Not terrible. But not great either. Just… not quite right.
I’ve been there.
For me, it wasn’t one big moment — it was an accumulation.
But then...
My mom was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer and passed away a year and a half later.
She was just 59 years old. I was 34 with two young daughters.
My marriage almost imploded not long after.
My best friend then died in a tragic accident.
My daughters grew into teenagers... along with all the emotional shifts that often come along with that.
We discovered mold in our home... for the first time. And then:
One word: COVID.
It was a lot. And my body felt it. Fatigue was the biggest thing. Then the pain, inflammation, and skin issues started creeping in. I felt like I was doing a lot of the “right” things, and nothing seemed connected. So I had no clue what to do about any of it.
Quite honestly? I didn’t jump into action right away.
I thought about it. A lot. Like I do. Like many of us do.
I just didn't know where to turn and I didn’t want to waste time, energy, or money going down a path that didn't align with the way I wanted to support my body. So I’d try some things — mostly supplements, small tweaks. Some things helped. Most didn’t. And overall, I still didn’t feel like myself.
Not just treating symptoms… but why they might be happening.
And for the first time, I started to feel better. That was enough to show me there was another way. But when he stopped practicing, I was left trying to piece things together on my own. Again. Which, if you’ve ever been there, you know how frustrating that is.
Thanks to a good friend of mine, I had believed in the power of food for a long time. I leaned on it heavily with my family.
But learning about it through the Nutritional Therapy Association was different. This was understanding how the body actually works and how food fits into that, which is to say... in many ways.
.
One of my biggest 'aha' moments was realizing my frequent eating, even the good stuff, and exhaustion were connected. When I learned how blood sugar works, it became obvious I was creating the problem myself.
I made one simple change and my energy improved. Quickly.
Nothing extreme. I just finally understood what my body needed to respond differently.

While learning to decode symptoms as messages — kind of like the Bat Signals of the body — through Nutritional Therapy is incredibly useful, I next learned how to understand them with even more clarity using something most of us have gotten routinely for years: blood labs.
The difference is in how they’re looked at.
See, labs are typically used to diagnose disease, after time has passed and symptoms have progressed. But when you look at those same markers through the proactive lens of Functional Blood Chemistry - which I got certified to do - they tell a much different story.
Together, your symptoms and functional labs help me understand what your body needs now, not later. So instead of “wait and watch" we can actually support your body before things progress more. See? Mind blown.

Just like I have my things I enjoy, the people I love, the life I want to live…
And if you’re still reading, I’m really glad you’re here. It tells me something about you. You care about your health. You’ve been paying attention. Trying things. Making changes where you can.
Because you do have a life you want to live. People you want to be there for. A future you don’t just want to get through… but actually enjoy.
But right now, that vision feels a little foggy because your body and your health just aren’t where you want them to be. And you're not sure what to do about it anymore.
That’s where most of the people I work with start. And quite honestly… it’s a place I know really well, too.
What I've come to understand both personally and through working with my clients...
These things we're experiencing aren’t random. They’re not nuisances to push through, ignore, manage, or patch up for the time being. They’re signals.
So in my world, we don’t ignore symptoms. (I’ve unfortunately seen the consequences of that.) Instead, we listen to them.
Your body isn’t actually doing something wrong. It’s doing exactly what it’s designed to do when it needs support. Because when you really think about it… how else is it supposed to get your attention?
Your life has changed. Your body has changed. Now your approach to living - and more importantly, thriving - in your body needs to change, too.
Not through rigid rules or extreme overhauls… but by understanding the bio-individual, foundational needs your body has and giving it exactly that.
Thanks for spending some time with me here. Now, if you’re ready to stop guessing and start moving forward with clarity and support…
